Sr. Caterina Isonni, fmm
Sr. Caterina was the group manager of the unit for boys at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Brighton from 1949 to 1971. Caterina cared lovingly for the boys and never had any disciplinary problems.
In 1971 to 1976, she was missioned to Divine Providence Shelter in Manhattan, NY, once again caring as a Group Mother for the boys in this Child Care Agency.
In 1976 to 2005, she was missioned to Cardinal Hayes Home for Children in Millbrook, NY as a supervisor. After completing her service as a child care worker and supervisor in Cardinal Hayes Home for Children, she cared for the grounds, beautifying the various areas.
Then Sister was missioned to Queen of Peace Community in North Providence, RI. Her present ministry is the Fruit Hill Day Service for Elderly where her fluency in the Italian language is much appreciated by participants whose native tongue is Italian.
Sr. Caterina continues to enjoy God’s creation in walking the beautiful grounds of Franciscan Missionaries in Fruit Hill, North Providence.
