Fruit Hill Day Services for Elderly presented a program to honor veterans.A number of people from the community attended the affair to commemorate the sacrifices made by those who served in the United States Armed Forces. Participants at the Center began the program with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a chorus of God Bless America.

A number of participants, including several who themselves were veterans, took part in the program by singing, dancing, and reciting poetry.

A flag, that had flown over the Capital in Washington, D.C., was presented to members of the Lymansville Memorial Post 10011 who were the honored guest for the occasion.

Boy Scouts representing St. Augustine Troop 1 and Troop 76 had the honor of folding the flag before making the presentation.
