Franciscan Missionaries of Mary choose to share in the life of the people to whom they are sent. Since the time of their foundation this entails, at times, being sent to the most distant and even dangerous places of mission.
Communication of the Gospel Message is the first aim of the FMM. They witness to the Gospel by their lives no matter where they are or what they do.
When a foundation takes place in a new country, ministries are begun which answer to the needs of the people or the local church.
The missionary orientation of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary is marked by a commitment to justice, peace and integrity of creation. Ecumenical collaboration and dialogue with all persons sincerely seeking truth and justice characterize their way of mission throughout the world, as they strive to build the Reign of God.

Province Ministries

Following the thrust of its mission statement, the Province encourages and support a variety of ministries, including;

FMM_ministries

Pastoral: parish administration, coordination of religious education, music, retreat and renewal programs.

Health care: hospitals, nursing facilities, assisted living, home care.

Communication and publications, Web Page.

Education: primary, adult, religious, art.
ESL(English as a Second Language).

Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation

Mission: ecumenical collaboration, research, education.

Bethany Renewal Center Bethany Renewal Center, sponsored by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, is a place of remembering, renewing, and responding to God.

The Mission Resource Center The Mission Resource Center was created in the autumn of 1988 to promote on-going mission education and ecumenism both locally and globally.

Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation As artisans of peace and reconciliation, we work to make the world more just and more human.

The FMM Assisted Living Residence The FMM Assisted Living Center's mission is to provide the highest quality of comprehensive care to each resident in a Catholic Christian environment.

Fruit Hill Day Services for Elderly Fruit Hill Day Services for Elderly A non-profit organization operated by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary provides programs which address the individual needs of its participants, with an emphasis on the capacity to remain active. It is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Elderly Affairs and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Franciscan Hospital for Children The mission of Franciscan Hospital for Children is to provide compassionate care and education to children with special health care needs and to help them reach their full potential. It is sponsored by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary

Cardinal Hayes Home For Children Cardinal Hayes Home for Children, Millbrook, New York - sponsored by the FMM since 1941 - provides residential care and treatment for developmentally disabled children and young adults in its Millbrook location and in five community homes in Dutchess County.

St Francis Hospital St. Francis Hospital is committed to providing responsive medical care in an environment that meets the multifaceted needs of each patient.

Art Studio Group painting lessons are given for persons of all ages. Art Therapy is integrated into these art lessons. Regular art exhibits held for both the students and the artist.

Expressive Arts Studio The Expressive Arts Studio is a therapeutic and fine arts studio, which focuses on the creative and healing aspects of art.
