Sr. Emilie Marie Duchaney, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries September 15, 1956 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence, RI. She pronounced first vows March 19, 1959 and her final vows June 13, 1963 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence.
Her first mission sending was to Divine Providence Child Care Facility where she served as a group mother. Her next sending was to Bell St. Providence, St. Raphael's Nursery where she learned the Montessori Method of teaching children. She was then sent to Cardinal Hayes Home for Children in Millbrook, NY. She was sent to Waukegan Il and continued to work with High Risk Infants caring for them in their homes also throughout her religious life her ministry has been caring for young children. Presently, she has been sent in mission to O.L. of Hope community in Brighton, MA.

Sr. Lois Ann Van Delft, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary March 17 1957 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows September 17, 1959 and her final vows September 17, 1962 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence, RI.
She served as a staff nurse in Kennedy Memorial Hospital now known as Franciscan Hospital for Children until 1968 when she became the director of nursing. She served as a nurse in Cabrini Health Center and health coordinator in McMahon Child Care Services. She has served in leadership both at the local and the provincial level. She served as Vice president of Pastoral Care in St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, NY.

Sr. Carol Ann Flaherty, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary September 15, 1956 at Holy Family Novitiate, N. Providence, RI. .She pronounced first vows March 19, 1959. She was sent in mission to Sydney, Australia, October 1964. She pronounced her final vows
March 19, 1965 in Mittagong, Australia.
Her past ministries include teaching home economics and religious education at St. Agnes High School,Rooty Hill, N.S.W. Australia; Director of Ave Maria Retreat House, Point Piper, Sydney, Australia. She served as a Pastoral Associate in Hazlehurst, GA; as a pastoral social worker at Guardian Angel Settlement Association in St. Louis, MO. and as Pastoral Associate in Sts. Martha and Mary Parish in Lakeville, MA. She is presently living and working in her religious community at St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, NY.

Sr. Alma Dorothy Dufault, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary September 16, 1946 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows March 19, 1949, and her final vows, March 19, 1952 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence.
She ministered as a social worker in Divine Providence Child Care Agency, NY. She was sent in mission to Lebanon and then back to Holy Family Novitiate N. Providence as novice directress. She was appointed as an assistant general in St. Helen's Generalate and then in 1972, elected as superior general. She served in this capacity until 1984. Upon her return to the USA she did volunteer social work in New York and in New Mexico.
She presently serves as the director of the Mission Resource Center in Providence. She is involved in the St. Francis Secular Franciscan Order as spiritual director and RISCC Faith and Order Commission.

Sr. Therese Landry, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary December 12, 1946 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows June 13, 1949, and her final vows, June 13, 1952 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence.
She served as a group mother in Divine Providence and McMahon Child Care facilities. After completing nursing studies, her ministries have been nursing in St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, NY; executive director of St. Francis Hospital, the coordinator of Health Services in the FMM Nursing Center, Providence and as assistant manager of hospitality for children at St. Francis Hospital. Her present ministry is Pastoral Care at St. Antoine's Residence, N. Smithfield.

Sr. Catherine Docherty fmm, entered the Institute of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, at Coldash, England September 1946 where she pronounced her first vows March 19, 1949. She was missioned to the USA and pronounced her final vows March 19, 1952 in Holy Family Convent, North Providence. She joined others of her sisters traveling all over the United States selling the handwork made in the Missions, thus obtaining the funds necessary to support the missionary work of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary here and abroad. She then served as a group mother in Mount St. Francis, Woonsocket until 1957. She served as a receptionist at St. Clements Eucharistic Shrine, and then at Our Lady of Millbrook Convent, New York. She was a residence supervisor in St Clements Residence for Women and also in St. Francis Residence, San Francisco. She had been an activities director for the Fruit Hill Day Care for Elderly, North Providence . Her ministry is that of intercessory prayer for the needs of the Church and of the world.

Sr. Rosalie McNaughton, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary September 16, 1946 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows March 19, 1949, and her final vows, March 19, 1952 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence.
Her first mission sending was to Divine Providence Child Care Facility in Manhattan, NY where she served as a social worker after completing her studies. She was sent in mission to Sydney, Australia via Rome, Singapore and Malaysia. In Sydney and Canberra she served as a social worker and administrator. Throughout most of her religious life she has served in leadership and in administration. Her present ministry is that of co- director of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary Center in North Providence, RI.

Sr. Helen Mary Riordan, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary September 16, 1946 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows March 19, 1949, and her final vows, March 19, 1952 in Holy Family Chapel, North Providence. After completing studies in nursing, she was sent in mission to St. Francis Sanatorium in Roslyn where she cared for children with rheumatic fever. She served in nursing in Franciscan Hospital for Children, formerly called Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Brighton, MA, FMM Nursing Center and Fruit Hill Day Center for Elderly. Her present ministry is receptionist and other community services in St. Francis Convent, Roslyn, NY.

Sr. Margaret Lois Houlihan, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary March 16, 1947, in 45th St. New York. She made her First Vows Sept.17, 1949, and final vows Sept. 17, 1952 in North Providence. Throughout her religious life she has had diverse ministries as a linotype operator in The FMM Printing Press, music director, composer, Montessori teacher in the St Raphael Nursery, Bell St; Certified Nursing Assistant in St. Anne's Hospital, Fall River, MA. She was sent in mission to St. Teresa High School in Monrovia, Africa and also taught in the university and was the music director. She served in Chaplaincy to Higher Government Institutions in Kumasi. In the USA, she served as the coordinator for Brooklyn Homeless Program and gave Musio-imagery therapy in Francis House for persons suffering with AIDS. She volunteered in a child care facility and at St. Francis Center in Providence, RI. Her current ministry is librarian for her community.

Sr. Kathleen F. Eilinger, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary December 1947 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows June 13, 1949, and her final vows, June 13, 1952 in St. Michel's Community, Arizona. After completing her studies, she joined others of her sisters traveling all over the United States selling the handwork made in the Missions, thus obtaining the funds necessary to support the missionary work of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary here and abroad.
She was sent in mission in 1967 to Monrovia, Liberia where she did pastoral ministry, rural village development, agricultural self help projects, and other human development projects on behalf of women and children. During the war in Liberia, she ministered to Liberian refugees. Her current ministry is her ministry is that of intercessory prayer for the needs of the Church and of the world.

Sr. Mary Ann Loughlin, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary September 15, 1946 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows March 19, 1949, and her final vows, March 19, 1952 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence. She was sent in mission to Kennedy Memorial Hospital now known as Franciscan Hospital for Children where she worked with handicapped children. After completing studies she was sent to St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, NY as assistant administrator. In 1970, she was sent to Rome where she worked in the communication office of the generalate secretariat. She directed the planning and renovation of The FMM Center in N. Providence, RI. Her next ministry was that of Executive Director/President of Franciscan Hospital for Children. She served as Provincial Treasurer for the USA Province and also served as a provincial councilor. Her current ministry is co-director of the Finance Office in the FMM Center, North Providence.

Sr. Eileen Joan McGoldrick, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary June 11, 1942 and made her first vows December 15, 1944, in Loughlynn, Ireland. She made final vows December 15, 1947 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence.
She joined others of her sisters traveling all over the United States selling the handwork made in the Missions, thus obtaining the funds necessary to support the missionary work of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary here and abroad. She also taught religious education in several parishes in Rhode Island, did home visitation to sick and house bound as a Eucharistic Minister. She volunteered in St. Francis Chapel, Providence. Her present ministry is that of intercessory prayer for the needs of the Church and the world.

Sr. Margaret Isabel Haydon, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary June 13, 1937 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows December 15, 1939 and her final vows December 15, 1942 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence, RI.
Her past ministries have been nursing in child care agencies in New York, St. Francis Sanatorium and the FMM Nursing Facility in North Providence, RI. She was sent in mission to Mexico where she continued nursing for the next twenty three years. Upon her return to the USA Province her ministry was Pastoral Care in St, Francis Hospital in Roslyn, NY and in Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. Her present ministry is that of intercessory prayer for the needs of the Church and the world.

Sr, Angela Miller, fmm, entered the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary June 12, 1932 in Holy Family Novitiate North Providence. She made her first vows December 15, 1934 and her final vows December 15, 1937 in Holy Family Chapel, N. Providence.
Her past ministries include traveling all over the United States selling the handwork made in the Missions, thus obtaining the funds necessary to support the missionary work of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary here and abroad. She was sent in Mission to Japan where she cared for orphans, taught English and dramatics to the children and worked on an adoption program. Upon her return to the USA Province her ministry was helping in the Day Program for Elderly in Fruit Hill. Her present ministry is that of intercessory prayer for the needs of the Church and the world.
